STORY

The worst nightmare of scientists has become reality. A cosmic string is slowly slicing through the Milky Way and has now reached our solar system. Mercury and Venus have already been destroyed. Now, it is approaching the Sun.

The end of Earth is inevitable. The immense gravitational forces of the cosmic string can already be felt, growing stronger with every passing hour. Oceans tremble, satellites fall from orbit, and the sky itself seems to bend.

Humanity’s last hope is to escape Earth as quickly as possible. Our best chance lies aboard the Spanish spacecraft Miura X, equipped with the latest nuclear propulsion engine ever built. It is powerful enough to outrun extinction… if it can survive the launch.

But escape will not be easy. The shattered remains of Mercury and Venus have formed a deadly storm of debris, turning space into a dense and relentless meteor shower.

The fate of the last Spaniards lies in your hands. You are the number one pilot of your class, humanity’s final chance.

Break free from the crushing gravitational pull of the cosmic string...

HOW TO PLAY

Your objective is to climb as high as possible without being destroyed by meteors. The more screens you pass, the higher your score.

Your ship is equipped with a protective shield that deflects meteors on impact. However, each collision drains shield energy. If the energy runs out, your ship will be destroyed by the next hit.

You are also equipped with a powerful prototype energy blast. Use it to clear nearby debris, but be careful — it consumes valuable energy. If your energy level becomes critical, the energy blast will be unavailable.

Controls

- Press SPACE to fire the energy blast.

- Press any other key to activate the nuclear propulsion system.

Each nuclear pulse increases your ship’s momentum. If you stop firing pulses, the cosmic string’s gravity will pull you downward.

Physics is relentless but predictable. Time your pulses carefully to gain altitude and avoid debris.

Items (Meteors)

Not all meteors are dangerous. Some contain valuable resources essential for your survival. You can identify them by their color:

- Red meteors: Superheated debris. Avoid them at all costs.

- Gold meteors: Rich in valuable minerals. Award extra points.

- Blue meteors: Contain deuterium and tritium, the fuel for your ship. Restore energy.
